Recognizing the important roles and responsibilities of crowd managers and the need for specific venue knowledge, the TCM program provides for the verification of standardized—yet also venue-specialized—training in the following way:
- Upon successful completion of the web-based curriculum of Phase One, the program participant will receive a certificate indicating that he or she has demonstrated sufficient mastery of the classroom subject matter. This certificate can be printed more than one time.
- The TCM program participant will take a copy of the certificate to a venue at which he or she will be serving as a crowd manager. After completing the venue-specific training at the venue, the certificate will be signed by that venue’s authorized representative, and the program participant will now have verification that they are a Trained Crowd Manager for that particular venue.
- If the TCM program participant works or desires to work at more than one venue, he or she will take separate copies of the certificate to each venue at which they will be serving as a crowd manager. After completing the venue-specific training at each venue, the participant’s certificates will be signed by those venues’ authorized representatives, and the program participant will now have unique verification that they are a Trained Crowd Manager for each of these venues.
